Don`t let anybody fool you, check the VIN of your vehicle before you buy it!

Don`t let anybody fool you. We think you would agree that when you buy a used vehicle, you make one of the most significant purchases of your life. Should the transaction be completed with minimal risks? Absolutely! Should you be informed about all hidden issues? Definitely! Should you get all historical information about ownership, salvage or insurance recalls, mileage, safety recalls, etc.? Yes, you should!

In the past, when there were fewer sources to check the vehicle`s history, purchases were based on trust and how the vehicle looked; you had to take risks. In the mid-1950s, American automobile manufacturers started to stamp the vehicles with identifying numbers. Those "VINs" - vehicle identification numbers- were used to give an accurate description of the mass-produced vehicle. During the early 1980s, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (U.S. Dept. of Transport) stated that all road vehicles must contain a 17-character VIN. It was also stipulated that the number should exclude the letters I (i), O (o), and Q (q) to avoid confusion with numerals 1 and 0.

Since then, newcomers, such as centralized vehicle data providers, started to show their interest and the possibility to combine as much vehicle data as possible in one place. They began with a mission – to be the leading source of vehicle history information for buyers and sellers of used cars. However, they became a bit outdated since they merely collect data and use it to compile reports. As a result, other companies started to create databases to provide more updated and accurate live data. Some of these companies are succeeding and partnering with potential data sources, and some are storing vehicle data on a blockchain to make the data secure, unchangeable, and reliable. Other companies are merely copying well-known centralized providers and each other.
Due to the speed of progress, while you think you are inventing something new, someone else already came up with the same idea at least a few months ago. Therefore, you always have to be ahead if you want to be at the top. As a buyer, you should always look for the best data report provider.

To the customer, it is not so important how you came up with a great VIN check idea or anything else. They simply want it at their services, and it should be reliable, easy to use, and report as many details as possible. So, what we are trying to say? Please, check the VIN and get a vehicle history report before you purchase the vehicle. With a complete vehicle history, you will likely get a safe, reliable vehicle and you can sell at a better price if you need to.

Please check your vehicle before you buy it!
